It already unpacked all the data as far as I can tell. At the end of the installation, there was a message saying that you only need to download a small file on release day to be able to play. GOG GALAXY 2.0 will be my new home base for organizing my library and picking what to play next. I installed the game earlier today, and it took up just under 26 gigs of space. Please download the installer on your PC.

With MKX on Steam, weren't they trying to do that thing where the game downloads in the back while you play? I wonder if the download is super compressed, and next Tuesday we'll download a small update to uncompress everything and it will bring it to like 40 gigs. It's impossible that this game is only 20gb big when Max Payne 3 was like 40gb.

I think several recent games did exactly that but I can't recall which ones. The Miami download was fairly slow (0.9MB/s,) but with Mount & Blade I was getting speeds comparative to those on Steam (between 2.5MB/s and 3.0. Get free Gog icons in iOS, Material, Windows and other design styles for web, mobile. It would be annoying to have to download another 15 gigs or so when the game unlocks. As mentioned above it's in the Collectors Edition.Īlso as for size I'm pretty sure it's just downloading half the game now and it will download the other half later so people can't data mine the ending or something.
